Cookies and local storage
The public site uses necessary storage for core functions. Google Analytics runs only after analytics consent.
What is stored by this site
- Language preference, so the selected language remains active.
- Open request reference, so a guest can return to the tracking page for an active request.
- Cookie-consent preference, so the banner can remember whether analytics was accepted or rejected.
- Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*), delivered through Google Tag Manager and set only after analytics consent, to measure page views and booking-flow events under the applicable Google terms. The _ga cookies expire after about two years.
- PWA/browser cache data, when the app is installed or cached by the browser.
What is not used
- No advertising cookies are intentionally set by the public site.
- No retargeting pixels or heatmaps are intentionally set by the public site.
- No analytics cookies are set before analytics consent.
- No customer ride request data is sold for advertising.
External services
Map, search, routing, hosting or security providers may receive technical connection data such as IP address, browser request and requested map or route details when those functions are used.
Control
You can clear cookies and local site data in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may reset language preference, active request reminders or PWA behavior. Analytics consent can be changed through the privacy settings link in the footer.
Strictly necessary storage approach
The current public site uses necessary storage for language preference, open request reminder, tracking continuity, PWA/browser cache and cookie-consent state. These items support the requested service and security of the platform.
Google Analytics is non-essential and is activated only after analytics consent. Advertising, behavioural analytics, retargeting pixels or other non-essential third-party cookies must stay behind a consent choice before activation.
Storage inventory
- Language preference: remembers the selected language so the interface does not reset on every visit.
- Open request reference: keeps the latest active request visible to the guest and can restore the status link after reload.
- Cookie consent preference: remembers whether analytics was accepted or rejected.
- Google Analytics cookies: created only after analytics consent and used for public page views and booking-flow events.
- PWA cache and browser cache: allow faster loading and support adding the app to the home screen where supported by the browser.
Third-party technical storage
Map tiles, geocoding results, routing responses, fonts or browser caches may be temporarily stored by the browser or by the external provider according to that provider's own technical rules. The public site does not intentionally use those mechanisms for advertising profiling.
If advertising pixels, remarketing or other non-essential tracking tools are added in the future, this page should be updated and, where required, a separate consent mechanism should be used before activation.
How to clear or limit storage
Guests can clear site data in the browser settings. On iPhone or Android, clearing website data may also remove the home-screen app session and the saved open request reminder.
Blocking all local storage may make core features less reliable, including language selection, open request reminders, PWA installation state, analytics consent state and map performance.
